brand and communication design

The Restart Festival has been, in the last few years, the culmination of all the work of the school year for several school courses. In “Final Project” module, several areas get together, from production to stage design, from sound to audiovisual.
Within the framework of the Branding subject of the Restart school, whose Graphic Design Course I attended in the academic year 2015/2016, it was proposed to the students to create the visual identity of the annual school festival.
The project began with the director’s briefing, which proposed the naming of the event: Festival RAM – “Restart À Mostra”.
Why? Because the event is meant to show the ideas, the works and everything that involves the school.
The challenge was to develop the whole concept of the festival, creating an attractive, dynamic, joyful and emotive visual language. From the creation of the concept to the logo, from the communication of the brand to its proper applications, the project resulted in this explosion of colour.
After some presentations, this was the winning project of the school. The event took place on the 7th and 8th July 2016, in one of the most coveted streets of Lisbon, Avenida da Liberdade. With the mentioned collaboration of the students and the team of this school, the event took place at Cinema São Jorge.
